About me

Chartered Accountant (CA)

This is where it all began — discipline, financial fluency, and real-world rigor. As an articled assistant, I dove deep into the guts of businesses — auditing manufacturing and service companies, preparing financial statements, reviewing income tax filings, and understanding the language of corporate law and balance sheets. This wasn’t just about ticking boxes — it was about learning how businesses live and breathe.

KPMG & Deloitte – Big 4, Big Leagues

Cut my teeth in Audit with marquee clients in IT, fintech, and FMCG. But I was hungry for more.

I pivoted into Transaction Advisory, where I ran financial due diligence and valuations for global PE giants like Blackstone, Credit Suisse, and HSBC. From petrochemicals to aviation, I learned to dissect businesses — fast. 100-hour weeks, high-stakes calls, and big-boy balance sheets. The grind shaped me. The hunger stayed.

INSEAD MBA – France & Singapore

The most transformative pit stop of them all.

At INSEAD, I zoomed out — beyond spreadsheets into strategy, leadership, and introspection. I learned to think global (and local), made lifelong friends across 90+ nationalities, and interned at a global asset management firm that expanded my financial lens.

It wasn’t just an MBA. It was a mindset shift — from doing the work to designing the game.

Investment Banking & Private Equity – Dubai

From boardrooms to billion-dollar deals.

At a sovereign wealth fund, I worked on complex equity and debt transactions across oil, gas, mining, and shipping — partnering with global investors like Blackstone, Fidelity, and Temasek.

Built models, forecasts, and pitch decks for deals between $150M–$400M. Sat across from C-suite execs and figured out how to position their business for the money they wanted.

Here, I learned how to sell a vision — and read between the (P&L) lines.

F&B Startup – India

I swapped term sheets for tasting spoons.

Fueled by a passion for clean eating, I co-founded a health-forward F&B venture in India — bringing Mediterranean and fusion meals to urban diners. Built everything from scratch: the menu, the brand, the margins. We served up bakery items, salads, and smoothies — and I got a crash course in operations, packaging, suppliers, and scale.

Every rupee counted. Every customer taught me something.

E-commerce Turnaround – Snapdeal

Dropped into chaos. Built clarity.

At Snapdeal, I led supply chain turnarounds and reverse logistics, helping slash a ₹300 Cr burn through strategy, vendor negotiation, and never-done-before ops initiatives.

This was messy, high-speed, and gritty — but it taught me how to plug leaks, build efficiencies, and lead under fire.

D2C Expansion – US Markets

Scaling Indian brands for global carts.

At Vahdam, I led US market expansion — from sourcing products in China to setting up our New York office.

Launched products across retail giants like Sprouts, Wegmans, and through national distributors like UNFI and KEHE.

Owned new product development, e-comm strategy, and branding — and learned the deep psychology of the American conscious consumer.

Swiggy – High-Speed F&B Strategy

Food, but make it scalable.

At Swiggy’s Private Brands division, I led strategy for brands doing over ₹300 Cr in revenue.

Turned around underperformers like Freshery and Breakfast Express, drove growth for flagships like The Bowl Company and Homely, and helped create entirely new brands under existing master identities.

Worked across geographies, cuisines (South Indian, Bengali desserts, fusion), and even helped regional players expand nationally.

This was brand strategy at hyperspeed.

AIKA Health & Coaching

Finally, I built something that felt like me.

AIKA Health was born from my own journey healing gut and hormonal imbalances without meds — while juggling all of the above.

Today, I build this D2C wellness brand from the ground up — while also consulting for F&B and D2C founders, and coaching ambitious professionals on career clarity, B-school admissions, and scaling without burnout.

This is the intersection of deep transformation — of people, brands, and businesses.
